Q. How do I begin to access your facility?

A. Fill out a Profile Data Sheet for the waste stream you wish to have reviewed. Collect approximately 16 ounces of the wastewater. Make sure it is a good representative sample including floatable solids as well as bottom solids. Bring the Data Sheet and Sample to our Facility.

Q. What kind of tests do you require?

A. Once the Profile Data Sheet is reviewed our Chemist will run specific tests attributed to the wastewater that you describe on the Data Sheet. If extensive testing is required, you will be contacted for testing options.

Q. What does the testing cost?

A. There are no fees for the tests preformed by our laboratory.
If additional tests are required, you will be given the option to use our preferred outside laboratory or have the tests preformed elsewhere.

Q. How long does it take to get an answer?

A. If your wastewater is typical of our existing acceptance streams, our LPC Laboratory may have your sample completed by the end of a day. Same-day approval and deliveries are common. If extensive tests are required, it could take up to a week.

Q. How to calculate the disposal fees and possible surcharges?

A. There may be surcharges for oil or solids content, chemical oxygen demand (COD), and washout fees. There could be additional expenses associated with labor or treatment for specialty liquid waste. The test results will disclose the necessity for additional charges.

Q. When can I expect to receive my final billing invoice?

A. We provide next-day billing. If you wish to know the amount invoiced prior to receiving it in the mail, you may call our Accounting Department 562-944-6111 at extension number 236.

Q. How do I pay for the disposal fees?

A. Prior to delivery you must fill out a credit application. You will be given line of credit but all accounts are due in 30 days. You also have the option of paying cash on delivery.

Q. What Transportation Company shall I use?

A. We do not provide transportation but upon request, we can offer a list of approved transporters. All Transporters must have the appropriate insurance in place and Lakeland Processing must be named as additional insured.

Q. How do I schedule a delivery of the approved wastewater?

A. Each contract or waste stream will be assigned a special Profile Number.This number identifies your waste as long as the contract When you are ready to schedule the delivery, call Lakeland and ask to set up a day.

Our Receptionist will ask you for the expected date and time of arrival and will give you a Confirmation Number. The Confirmation Number as well as the Profile Number should be placed on the Non-hazardous Manifest. These corresponding numbers will be listed on your billing invoices as well. When requesting information about this or other accounts, the profile number will be needed.
